Product Description The PeaceMaker video-game challenges you to succeed as a leader where others have failed. Experience the joy of bringing peace to the Middle East or the agony of plunging the region into disaster. PeaceMaker will test your skills, assumptions and prior knowledge. Play it and you will never read the news the same way again. Reviews: "Peacemaker is part of a new generation: games that immerse people in the real world, full of real-time political crises. And the games' designers aren't just selling a voyeuristic thrill. Games, they argue, can be more than just mindless fun, they can be a medium for change." - The New York Times. "Unlike most serious games, it aims to bridge the gap between education and entertainment and reach a mass market." -CNN. "It provides a challenge that literally kept me up at night." -Robert Janelle, Suite 101.
Playable in Arabic, English, and Hebrew.

Peacemaker review December 21, 2008 Samuel J. Benavidez (Dallas, TX) Excellent game. It shows the real complexities of trying to solve the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians.
Absolutely brilliant!!!! November 3, 2007 Pali Boy 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The game was amazing. I loved every second of it. Being able to make decisions, while judging the atmosphere and the reaction of every group involved in the conflict was a true eye opener on how difficult peace can be. I recommend this game to everyone, it'll help understand the conflict just a little better. I beat the game from the Palestinian point-of-view in just 2 days, so now I am trying with the Israeli point-of-view. The key to winning is to get your own people's view above 80 and then slowley worry about the world view. The game would've recieved a 5 star if we could've actually had some missions in it. Such as arresting militants, defending against incursions, patroling the area, etc. Just to prolong the game and make it more entertaining, than just educational. I mean come-on now it's a game based on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, some type of skirmishes have to be played out. Hopefully a second one comes out, where we have to maintain control of the land after peace has been made. Now that will keep it going alot longer than just two days. But still i encourage everyone to purchase it. Great job, Impact Games, for making this one.

PeaceMaker: Play the News. Solve the Puzzle. (Mac or PC)
Excellent game, it's so educational, even when you think you have the ability to solve the wars, you learn and realise why history has affected others opinions. You find that being The Peacemaker is not as easy as it sounds. You open your eyes to the big problem and realise we have a lot of work to do to make things right. Man's greed and corruption has to be overcome before any peace can take place.
Should be used in Schools.
Peacemaking Prodigy ???? September 13, 2007 Sharon Waldron (story, wyoming United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this game for my 7th grader to be used as part of her home school curriculum. I was hoping she could gain insight into the complexities of peace and diplomacy. I was disappointed when she won the game in about 2 hours time. I'll have her try again from the Palestinian perspective and hope that it proves more challenging....Maybe she just got lucky?
This game will help you to understand the frustrations of both sides. August 23, 2007 D. Fink 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am not quite sure if you can win this game, I have not. It will certainly give you insight as to the problems that the leaders of both sides face when attempting to bring the mess to a conclusion.
